Seriously, why couldn't I have found something like this a year ago when I was all flush with cash and could have bought it outright. But nooooo it has to show up now when I'm supporting two mortgages (still need to rent out the condo) and can't scratch two pennies together...

Yep, I have so much jalopy things to do and absolutely no money to do them with. Couldn't bring the Graham's in because I had no where to store them. Now I have a place to store them but zero money to do so.

I keep alternating between having money to do things with my car, but no space or time, to having time, but no space or money (or energy), to having space, but needing to spend time and money preparing it...

All good, though. I'll finish up the Ranchero and get a bathtub car eventually. Currently working on putting in a ~36x40 extension on my dad's shop, which should provide enough room to make the remaining Rovers possible to get out the door. It will also be far more the Club Ramblin than the current shop, so cross-shuffling of projects should involve more of mine, less of my dad's, and better control.

nah, Series trucks are simple and easy to fix. Besides the way the prices are climbing on these trucks what ever money you put into them you'll get back if you could ever convince yourself to sell it.

Yeah, I'd love a 4 door (technically it's a 5 door because the back is also a door) wagon myself but a Stage 1 is such a rare bird in these parts I'd be willing to make an exception.

Now if you'd excuse me, I'm going to go find a lost relative who is wealthy so that I can convince them to put me in their will and then off them.

They're rare enough over here, never mind Stateside. The interior looks really cheaply done, but that's an easy fix. You'll need to get a good pic of the underneath to check out that chassis. Everything considered, I like it! What do you want to sell? A portion of your liver??

Not too worried about the interior, owner states there isn't any heavy rust on the frame but it's within driving distance so I could drive up there and look if need be.

The person who got my liver would probably die of alcohol poisoning.

I was thinking about becoming a male prostitute but I'd probably take a pay cut so maybe do it on the side?

Tell me about it. So far I've had to pass up on a 3.5l Rover P6 with a 5-speed for £1500, an Alfa GTV6 with a spare 3.3l Autodelta engine for ~£2500 and an early RHD Biturbo coupe for £500, all because I've had fuck all money to play with.

I've never seen these kind of cars pop up again, ever :(
